prayer flags

    I think these are so beautiful... I've seen them in pictures, and when I went to Arizona there was a space decorated with them... can anyone share some more info on them for me? Thank you!

    Cant quite tell what the third one is, but the other two are Guru Rinpoche and Eight Auspicious Symbols. There's some days that prayer flags shouldn't be hing, otherwise there's not much rules for hanging them. You must do a search for the bad days.

    Actually the first might be Medicine Buddha, and the third Wind Horse, but again the pics are too small for my eyes.

    The first is a medicine Buddha, the second Taasi Tagge, and the third Padmasambhaava.

    I've always wanted to make my own prayer flags....and let the wind carry the prayers.

    I think you're right....all Tibetan prayer flags I've seen always have wind horse....sorta looks like it.

    Thanks for the info... those pics actually are just a few I found on the net... They're so pretty... I really want to figure out how to make my own... Any suggestions?
