Women, answer please...

When you and your husband/Boyfriend sit down and watch a movie at home, do you get up during the movie to do other stuff or do you sit/cuddle/whatever through the entire movie without leaving the room?

Guys, answer in regards to your significant other's habits.

Depends on how much I like the movie. If it sucks, I'll prolly get up and go repave the driveway or something.

I mean, you are spending time together watching a flick... do you have to get up and do 50 things throughout? Should it really take 6 hours to get through a 90 minute movie?

 

lol we usually sit through it... but if we get bored we make out or something

I'm talking laundry, vacuuming, etc... If you want to do other stuff, do other stuff, THEN watch a movie. This must be unusual then...

 

I get up and do things, but its usually just to go and get things to do infront of the movie. Knitting or something like that. My husband and friends are used to it. I don't sit still well, and have a really short attention span. I fidgit like a 3 yr old without something to occupy my hands. If I leave though, I don't make them pause the movie, as I am not gone for long.

I watch the movie, if it sucks I say so and hope we can turn it off...... because I would be dating/whatever with someone who would probably like movies we like or we could tolerate.

 

umm no. usually if we end up watching a movie its because were sitting on the couch smoking whatever is being passed around and a movie just happens to come on. so no, i dont usually move much. unless i have to piss or something. i just got done watching spiderman 2 with my man. it was gay as fuck maybe because i havent seen the 1st one. oh well.

 

If I had someone to cuddle with right now, I think that I would cuddle through the entire movie, then follow and cuddle some more.

but no, I don't get up and do crap during the movie. It's just rude. maybe if I've forgotten something important, but that's like only once per movie... and I'll pause it if I have to run to the washroom or somesuch, but otherwise I like to sit and snuggle

We never cuddle watching a movie except for the very few times we've watched something hot and heavy. Then it's not really considered cuddling.

We don't even sit on the same sofa watching movies. I'm usually cuddling with the dog. No one gets up during a movie though. If one has to pee then we stop it but to get up and start doing other stuff that would piss my husband off. I wouldn't like it either.

You are probably right. It's probably an ocd thing. Sounds like she can't calm her mind down to sit. Do you ever go to the movies? Would that just drive her insane?

Before you sit to watch a movie maybe you could plan it like a date and ask her to be in the hear and now. Whatever she has to do (in her mind) can get done before your date. Try working with her so it doesn't frustrate the both of you. Ocd sucks. Some have it more severe than others.

 

Well, when my hubby and I sit down to watch a movie together, I must confess that I tend to get up and do this or that during the movie. He'll patiently hit the pause button and wait for me to come back, but not without asking what I'm doing now.

For me, I'm a very active person. I grow bored easily. I have actually been diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder as well as Obssesive Compulsive Disorder, and well, my attention span doesn't last too long. My husband has known this about me since we first met, so he's totally used to my behavior, and I've got to love him, he just takes it in stride.

It really is very, very hard for me to sit through an entire movie. No matter how good it is. Seriously. I'm up at least two or three times during. Not for anything major, and I'm only gone a minute or two, but it's hard for me to just sit down and relax.

I'm just the opposite. It's hard for me to get up and do anything with or without a movie playing.

 

It depends, If we went out and rented the movie together as like "Lets go get some movies and stay in tonight" Yeah I stay and curl up. But if its just on TV or he got it on his own and I have other stuff to do Ill get up and do it (if the movie is boring) But I would never pause a movie and do something else.

 

i think that's just rude If i get up during a movie it's only to like go the bathroom or something. I'm really really focused on a movie when i'm watching it, so i can't stand it when people are constantly getting up or can't shut up.. Cuddling is really nice and I love doing that, but i really just wanna watch the bloody movie


unless it's a boring movie.. :H
