hi you guys...if anyone's listening (er...reading) anymore... today i ate good... I had a lightly battered and fried filet of catfish, brown basmati rice, and aspearagus/sweetpotato/spinach cream soup for late breakfast-lunch. Then I had junk food for dinner..lol.. I thinK i should probably get used to a bland mono diet cos shopping is hard to have happen all the time. I'm gonna ask mom to go again.. we'll see!!!
Hey there meep. Just checkin in on ya. I'd say try to keep the junk food out of the house, that would make it a lot easier to resist. Also, just be aware of what you are eating. You know what you should be eating, now it is just a point of doing it more times than not. No magic tricks here, just eat from what mother nature has given us and you will be fine. Mother nature didn't make junk food though. If I can't pronounce the ingredients, I stay away from it. Just a bit of advice for you. Keep trying, you are coming a long way.
I have no control over what comes into the house beyond what I bring in. I went to miami for thanksgiving and it was cool... I ate terribly though cos there were no other options.. my skin is unhappy now too. but thats alright. I'm gonna get lots of mung beans and basmati rice soon and buy vegetables every few days. we shall see. Christmas break is coming and I plan to use it well.... I am going to try to cultivate myself for a few weeks.
ah so i have little self dicipline... i am going to try to be more mindful about what i eat and why... wish me luck..
it sucks...before i met him, i was down to about 165, which is the thinnest i've been as an adult. i was still overweight, but i was so close to my goal. after being in a relationship for almost 3 years, i'm right back to above 200 lbs. it isn't his fault; he encouraged me to be healthy...i let MYSELF go. so, instead of moping about it, i'm getting back into it. in 2 weeks, i've lost 3 lbs of weight. in 2 weeks, i've lost a few inches off my waist. it's been a month since i've turned vegetarian (and i'm doing it right, so don't worry...i know all about health and nutrition and how to feed myself properly). the key thing has been getting off my ass and being physically active. i hope in a year to be down to 130, which is my ultimate goal. i'm about 5'2", so i think this will be a comfortable weight for me. i plan on starting some strength training at the gym soon, and i do a fair amount of cardio daily. i'm on my way back!
Din't we cover this earlier? I seem to remember the crack ddiet commming up in October.. Meep how is life?
hey destro, thanks for askin... life is good... i've been out of class for about a week now... its been a very relaxed week. Its finally christmas and I am just ordering some gifts and tomorrow I get my mom's chocolates if the chocolate shop is open. (it better be!!) it'll be a costly Christmas but in the end I'm sure itll be worth it. I haven't lost any weight or really been trying... As I clean and redecorate my room I will hopefully be trying to get into better shape... I am planning a cleanse for the last two weeks of break...I'm gonna try to hit the gym a few times next week. We shall see buddies....
