UMMMM.. Ummmagggummmaaa, drink it inn. always goes down smooth :)

Ummagumma in my opinion, is a very underrated pink floyd album, it is just amazing... These songs make you visit hell, and heaven... it's absolutely a trip...

What do you guys-girls think about Ummagumma?

Man I agree that Ummagumma is underrated.

I've never been able to get really into the studio disk.
It has its moments, but the live disk is amazing.

I have mixed feelings about ummagumma, and Ive had this album for years......

the live disc is great. the studio side is a bit too much........ too experimental and quite boring, if you ask me. only grantchester meadows and a narrow way pt 3 save it from being a total drag..... in other words, I dont think it is at all underrated. maybe the live side, but the studio?? no. if you want to talk about underrated floyd albums, obscured by clouds and the final cut are good examples.

and a tidbit I had to throw in here, for those who do not know about the term "ummagumma". it was a black slang term for "knockin boots", "havin sex", or whatever you call it........ "rock and roll" was also a black slang term for knockin boots, or havin sex..... so, in other words, ummagumma = rock n roll ....... but if you really think about it, ummagumma was the farthest that pink floyd ever ventured from conventional rock n roll....... its quite ironic.

^lol... well actually... I really love that studio album, it took me many listens though... but now .... holy shit!!! Sysyphus is amazing!!! I even love The garden party songs... crazy weird trippy drum stuff... I listened to this stuff on mush once, and it's probably what made me unveil the secrets of it.. so everyone, eat mush, then listen up :)

uhh....... so youre saying you have to get high to really enjoy it?? well , then it probably isnt any good to begin with....... I would say sysyphus and the garden party are two of the worst floyd songs ever made, and many floyd fans would say the same thing...... they are so uneventful and boring....... and only "trippy" if you are on something

^well whatever... if all humans had the same taste, life would be pretty boring.
I find it good, and thats all :)

The live album is spectacular, the studio album though has some real nice parts, but also alot of parts I normally skip over.
