all wars need two or more sides.. we know one side - the govt/govtorganisations, mindwashed drones (often christian, though of course there are heaps of cool stoenr christians) and southerner patriotic bastards.

well why are they the only side fighting? why isnt there a side that actually fights back, making busts on govt labs, and hijacking drug bust transportation, a rebel side.

sure, the govt would turn them into 1950's communists, but it would cause them so much trouble, sicne they woudlnt be able to link it to another country to make war with (like they did with commies)(unless they did that to dutch)

or at least a grass group , a pot patrol, the weed women and marijuana men, the cannabis cult

a team that fights for weed and lowgrade drugs only, caus that might amke more sense than legalising heroin and crack lol.

so how do you think it would come about if it did

Well if everyone just grew it inside their houses and in their gardens, it would be impossible for the police to arrest everyone and they would realise that if people are gonna do something, they'll probably to it regardless of the law - and then hopefully it would be decriminalised.

It would end up like Columbia. Besides who wants to do all that just for a bit of weed? It's a waste of time, especially since the dealers, and the government are in the same side.

To quote Bill Hicks: "George Bush says we are losing the war on drugs. That implies there's a war being fought, and people on drugs are winning it. What does that tell you about drugs? Some smart creative people on that side."

Personally stonerbill as if you haven't noticed, but most of the people today have already been or are converting to drugs b/c they feel somewhat more safer than defying the terms of bush's so-called pre-organized drama, ya know!

It needn't even be a conspiracy. Simply both dealers (well, at least the bigger ones) and the government want pot to remain illegal since both of them profit from it, in different ways.

Plus, actions speak louder than words anyway..So, smoke loud!

All organizations, even when there is not much they are able to do given the circumstances, still bring out awareness. I think that's pretty important.

I was in our local Norml chapter for about 5 months then I realised all we ever did was talk about raising money(we never really did the fund raisers, just talked about it)....and after that we never talked about what the money was going to and how it was going to affect the situation

If there was a violent pot revolution then the government would win. They would prove that pot is a bad thing and causes violence and then more people would be against it. Now I may not be complete right because look at how prohibition got stopped. That was definitely violent. I myself don't think violence is a good idea to solve the problem. I think everyone should go out and plant pot plants EVERYWHERE. Keep all of your seeds and throw them in places that won't be mowed or seen easily. Go for a hike somewhere and throw a few seeds out all over the place. I've been doing this for a while few years and I just go out for a walk in the places I've put these in previous years and throw some more. Sometimes I find a few plants with some bud. Sometimes I find a plant that someone else has discovered and there is nothing left on it. Usually though I find nothing. Once I actually found a sign (I'm assuming from cops) that said better luck next year which sucks cause probably quite a few had sprouted. But since I only go out being Johny Potseed once a month except during the winter so I have lots more seeds come late March early April. If everyone went out and did this pot would be everywhere. They would have to either give up and legalize or hire a search and destroy pot team. I don't know if you guys are low on funds or not but I am never without cash so buying weed is never a problem for money reasons. When I find a pot plant that I planted that has been raped of its love flower I feel like I've done a good thing. So anyways. I've said enough. Go do this and make weed become the most abundant plant in America.

Not action wise, but they will pay any tickets that you get. They work to inform people and maybe it'll spread someday.

It's essentially legal to possess an amount less than an ounce. A cop might confiscate the stuff if your a minor, but you don't get ticketed. I have no further knowledge of Canadian laws.
