i used to work at a bar a few yrs ago (my first bar job) and this hot scottish guy who was a fair bit older than me asked me on a date...

he asked me my number for a week and i wouldnt give it to him..then on the day of the date i got drunk with friends and stood him up...but i found out later that his details seemed to match someone my sister slept with so i think it was fatalistic. i sortof had that feeling when he asked me out too..

i was 18 and my friend jess worked with me.. we used to smoke with our bosses and stuff and dude was just funny (the one that invited me to the party)
he lived a half hour driving away
and we just went
it was fun but we never saw him again

we called business to business
like ceo's and shit
well they are a diff. breed
and so are the standards

i never cussed at any of them but dumb cock suckers with their balls up their ass got quite an attitude from me...as i return favors.

i quit before i got fired.

cause i was warned.

but i was there for three years and still got a good reference. and i would never go back there.

 

i went to a training day then didnt report for the shifts..i just new the longevity would be non-existent

 

dude they can pay well though. i made twenty bucks an hour once.

just couldnt keep it up.

 

I make almost 4 times what I did there, and things are MUCH more stable here. The place I used to work no longer exists. Of course that was ten years ago.

I was great when I started. I made an average of 7 sells an hour my first 3 months. I literally could NOT believe when people said yes. Selling credit cards. Nuts.

Well, I like it best if the person says nothing and hangs up immediately. No time invested and I move on. It's the rude comment followed by a hang up that gets to be trying.

When they call me (which hardly ever happens anymore) I just say I am not interested, Thank You, and hang up.
