I just wanted to know that if i plan on getting pregnant again if its ok to breastfeed my son while i am pregnant?
Oh YES!!! I nursed my first daughter all throughout my second pregnancy and I tandum nursed for three months. Then I nursed my second daughted untill I was about 4.5 months PG when I conciously weaned her. Your milk will decrease and it will change consistancy, not be as fatty, sometime in the 2nd trimester thought so it's ideal that the nursling have other sources of nutrition
I've never done it myself, but know LOTS of mamas who tandem. It's perfectly safe and healthy, though some toddlers do wean themselves with the milk change--i wouldn't say it's a common thing though, most decrease nursing frequency at worst, and most of the time pick up the pace again once the baby comes and so does the yummy new milk.
another question is how do you get the lillypie ticker on to your sig?? I have tried copy and paste and all the codes but still all i get is nothing.
yup its totally fine but when you breatfeed its ment to work as a contraception (sp) but normally it doesnt - but yeah the new baby will get everything needed as will your other baby
Okay what is tandum feeding, I'm a parent of three, one is out of home via adoption, but I've never heard of tandum feeding
Tandum nursing, nursing two babes at once. My oldest wasn't weaned when the new babe came so I was nursing them both for awhile. I believe it's most commonly referred to when a mama is nursing a newborn and a toddler but nursing twins is also called tandum nursing. Tandum nursing isn't for everyone but it's completely safe and natural
