There really wasn't anywhere else to put it (to my knowledge) so I figured since it was an appreciation of the human form I'd put it in here. Since August I have lost 20 pounds. Here are the old pictures of my tummy and the new ones.

Eh. Could be better right now. I'm having someone else moving in. The guy that moved in here moved downstairs and so now I'm alone for a week or two and I hate being in here alone at night. I don't sleep well.

Losing weight during the Thanksgiving / Christmas season is quite an achievement! Kudos to you.
And you are cute either way, BTW!

Thanks for all the kind words. It's especially hard for me to lose weight because it is a genetic factor on both sides of my family (type 2 diabetes on both sides of the family as well). Thing is, I want to get down to a healthy weight so that I don't develop diabetes, or if I do it's not serious.

Weeble, you're hot because you're real. Being healthy only serves to make you hotter 'cuz you'll be around longer. I was with someone a few years ago who was so hung up on her weight for aesthetic reasons rather than health. She got addicted to Atkins and ended up emaciated, very UNHEALTHY looking and it changed her entire personality. I left her because of it. One morning she just wasn't the same person.

I'm not drawing a parallel, just saying be safe, be healthy, but most of all, be YOU.

I don't think I have to worry about that all that much. I pretty much eat all the same things although I cut out my weak spots. I don't go to fast food anymore unless I have to or if I'm out with a certain friend of mine. Which happes like 3 times a year that we ever go to anything but Subway. I only allow myself, at my limit, to eat chinese once a month. I sometimes go 3-4 months without it anyway. I stay away from unnessisary amounts of carbs. I roughly eat 6-8 servings throughout a day and rarely eat rice, potatos or pasta. I used to use toast as comfort food and would pack away 12-15 carbs a day. I also had a huge addiction to cheese so I cut back on excessive amounts. I used to eat 2 of everything which was a childhood habbit,-one for each hand- that I never outgrew; and have cut back to one of something. If I'm still hungry after I eat one, I'll find something else to eat. I don't eat much chocolate or sweets anymore and I upped my veggies, fruits and protien.

Seems to be working well for me. The only excersize I get is from working and dancing within the privacy of my own home.

Weeble, you're looking mighty sexy as always.

I have type 2 diabetes, and I can tell you that losing ANY amount of weight helps dramatically. (I'm sure you know this already) As long as you aren't feeling deprived of the things you like to eat, it's all good!

    Keep it up darlin'!

I know a thing or two about "two fisting" my food as well, lol. I am SUCH a jolly fat man.:p

congrats mama.. i think you're hot either way.. but i also know how good it feels to lose the weight when you've got genetics against you - along with the threat of diabetes.. i lost about 25-30lbs (and have been able to keep it off for nearly a year.. that's the surprising part) and even though i still need to lose some, the seemingly small ammount that i did lose was such a confidence booster.. and i actually feel better physically too

Well, right now my BMI is 34 which puts me in the "obese" catagory but that doesn't say anything about muscle weight which I have a lot of. I may be a bit overweight but saying I'm obese is a bit of a stretch. I don't rely on my BMI at all. I do have a base weight that I won't go past anyway. I want to be 150 pounds.. which for my build and height (5'6") isn't an unhealthy weight at all. My sister got down to 97 pounds and I feared for her life so I don't think I'll ever let myself go to extremes.

Besides, I like my women a little on the curvey side so I want to be a bit curvey.
