That crap was written by a corporate turd with coke-bottle glasses and a bad tie. I want to hear about firsthand experience. Actually that was pretty cool.
you don't trip. You go insane, completly delirious. not fun at all, besides you can die. I have never tried it, but it isnt something that I would EVER want to use. Stick to lsd, much safer.
Been there, done that. Jimson weed is the gate to one of Don Juan Matus' paths of knowledge. For that, I think I need to try it once before I croak.
well my buddies mashed the seeds and made a tea , lets say they just had to much !1 my one dood mikey wondered into these folks house and sat down on there couch , he said after that everyhouse looked exactly the same , plus you talk and play with things that arent there, danger avoid unless you have someone that knows the right amounts per body weight
Thanks. I did know you can die from the wrong dose. Maybe those things you play with are really there, but you can't perceive them without the drug. The stuff grows everywhere south of here. They call it loco weed because when cows it eat, they go nuts. If you've read any Carlos Castaneda, you'll know that preparation and what part of the plant you use are mighty important.
Well, I guess unless you've done jimson, you don't know what kind of perceptions those dudes had. That is my point amigo.
Been there, done that, tripped hard, went insane. What's interesting about LSD is that you believe you are going insane, which means you are not actually insane. With Datura you think you are more or less OK, mostly paranoid and delirious, which means you are in fact insane. There have been cases in my state of kids dying while on it. It's not something advisable. LSD is much, much safer.
It's a Neurotoxin. The dosages between getting a hallucinogenic effect and a toxic effect are inconsequential. Poisoning yourself isn't enlightening. Its up to you, but chances of poisoning are very high, and people hallucinate but not as much as they throw up, puke themselves, feel very nauceous, and again, you might die. Why don't you take some acid and go sky diving? It'll be a little less stupid, and if you do die it'll be from something rather cool rather then your friends discovering you soiled yourself to death.
Well nothing positive so far. I won't do LSD ever again. After you take it enough, its a been there, done that sort of thing. Notice you don't see any oldtimers still doing it. At least I don't anyway. I'm thinking a big dose of peyote in a sweat lodge might be a gratifying experience.
Have a look at what Erowid has to say about it: http://www.erowid.org/cgi-bin/search/htsearch.php?exclude=&words=jimson&Search.x=11&Search.y=9 A variety of it grows over here in the UK and we call it Deadly Nightshade, I think the name says it all really.
Highdeserthippie-- you took the words out of my mouth. Unless you have Don Juan to guide you, STAY AWAY FROM IT! ALL PARTS OF THE PLANT ARE POISONOUS! BTW-- Don Juan entered the void, if you recall, and Carlos Castededa died of liver cancer, no doubt caused by all the weird drugs he ingested. A lot of people who take it have visions of corpses, death scenes, etc. Sounds like a real neat drug to put you in a mental institution the rest of your life. Jesus, just when I think the stupidity on this forum can't be topped, along comes a new champion!
Do NOT do this plant. Its a poisonous plant, containing some alkaloids that can easily kill you. If you do not overdose accidently, you might hurt yourself in your deleriant strange reality dream that are rarely ever pleasant or end up as a retard. besides that, the effects don't sound pleasant to me at all. - Talking to stuff that isn't there - A trip for 3 days - Not being able to see for a week properly - Gigantic risks - Mouth too dry to swallow water I never did it, but if you wanna trip do mushrooms or acid. DO NOT DO THIS PLANT. ITS NOT A PSYCHEDELIC.
although i respect your opinions against datura, i highly doubt doing peyote in a sweat lodge would be a good idea. datura of course can be used spiritualy, but you must be ready for it, and by ready, i dont mean willing. enough said.
