Some questions.

I had my friend take a picture of his plant because I wanted to know what it was. He actually doesn't know what he has growing.

Now the pictures are bad and it hasn't budded yet so I'd be surprised if anyone can actually tell what it is, but you can give it a shot.

It appears to be marijuana, suffering from:

root restriction
and
over-fertilization.

If you're inquiring as to strain, there is no way to tell.
