already a recent matisyahu post, and my suggestion is to stop watching MTV which only plays that song and check out the whole album.

Ahah... everyone has seemed to have seen it on launch, that I've talked to. Check out live at stubbs... they even appear to be selling it at wal-mart. It has to be some amazing shit (I have the album, seen him once at the jewish mother, back before this whole mtv thing, seeing him at the 9:30 club on x-mas night) for mtv to play it.
That's exactly not what I'm looking for. If I wanted that, I'd be headed out Southwest to Asheville (Warren), but I just like hitting up small/mellow shows and taking a nice break from all the commercial bullshit during Summer tours... spending time and dragging people I don't hang out with much (portions of whatever family is in the area for x-mas) along with me to concerts and getting them into it, ahah. But, I'm mostly looking forward to the SPCA benefit in Fredericksburg (KW)... Which generally happens to fall on my birthday every year... and Keller is my fave one man band.
so why does everybody like him so much? I've listened and listened...blech. Help me understand the appeal. I get into a lot of hip-hop...Al Howard and K23, Gift of Gab, Speech, Pete Miser...just don't get this guy.
He's doing a Christmas eve show here in Philly at the TLA. I think that's part of his gig. I mean, he's an orthodox Jew, so I think it's kinda symbolic that he's puttin on a show Christmas Eve. I can't go now
