Recently I missed one of the pills in my packet. That day my boyfriend and i were going to have unprotected sex that day. I was so paranoid so we didnt.... I was just wondering, after missing a pill, how long are you supposed to keep taking the pills before you can have unprotected sex again? All replies greatly appreciated! Kitty_Kat
I think you should finish that pack...have the 7 days break (where you will bleed and will mean you are not pregnant) and start a new one the 8th day normally. If you are not sure i think you should go to the clinic and ask the nurse. it's best to be sure about these things.
it does say that i can leave it for 7 days unless its one of the last one but i was just wondering if it could be sooner? Kitty_kat
3 days it says on my packet but i doubt that missing just one would get you pregant. because if you are continuously taking them everyday, and you only missed one, there is no way a baby could develop under those circumstances
Obviously, missvanessa, you are really UNINFORMED! I'd say wait probably a month before you have unprotected sex again to be on the safe side. You should be safe than sorry.
