Black Oak Arkansas is one of the few great southern rock bands, unfortunately over shadowed by more popular bands such as Lynyrd Skynyrd. This band has made some of the best music ever. So come and show your love for what could quite possibly be the greatest band ever.

I saw Black Oak Arkansas in concert in 1973. At the end of the show, the drummer threw his sticks into the crowd. One of the sticks hit me in the mouth. I was lucky. I felt my mouth and teeth to see if any were missing. Everything was intact. I do not recall much about the group. I had an album of theirs that summer. The only title I recall is something called "Hot n Nasty."

I love BOA's music and their album The Wild Bunch. No one has the gritty, down to earth vocals that Jim (James Mangrum) does or every will. I especially love the song Talk to the Hand. I know the lyrics except for a word or two? It comes after the line:

I built my life own my own
    Then I get what you're ?
    Saying you want me back
    Baby, I'm sorry I'm wrong

If anyone knows what comes after Then I get what you're ?
I'd appreciate it if you'd let me know. I really hate not knowing that line. His lyrics are so great.
    Thanks
