Anyone here that likes Arcturus? I've been listening to them all day and their music is fascinating me. So atmospheric and so beautiful
A friend recommended their latest album to me. It's quite astonishing! I don't know much from their previous records, I heard some songs here and there but those didn't really grab me. Vortex has such a beautiful voice! I'm also very impressed by Solefald's 'In harmonia universali', which was a wild guess when I bought it in Italy two years ago, but turned out to be really really really etc. good.
However i'm not into really progressive or avantgarde-like black metal, I do like Arcturus stuff sometimes. Solefald has some nice stuff as well.
Doing some research in Arcturus' back catalogue points out that damn, I should have checked them out seriously much, much earlier.
