I'm writing this as part of university course, the brief was to write a work of fiction based on actual events (a drama documentary). I'm doing the murder of Rasputin, as that and related issues have been a passion of mine for years.

To save space I'll just give you the link to where I posted it in my writing journal...

So, what do you think? :)
(Sorry about the inevitable bad grammar and punctuation, those aren't my forte, will get a beta to go over it before the hand in.)

PS Any suggestions for a title would be gratefully received.

I've only had time for a quick glance, but I have to say that I was impressed. Also, Slutter's advice is good, too. I will let you know more when I can sit down with a cup of moccaccino and have a proper read. Great work and interesting subject. Well done, Sage-Phoenix.

Hey! Nice work, I liked the visual imagery of the first part, maybe work on the dialogue a little.. But that's not a major issue anyway. Keep up the good writing.

Very nicly done, got my attention and has me wanting to read more. It is always difficult to introduce your story and the characters. Add to that trying to create and maintain an historical accuracy. You've established the hard part beautifully.
