Yeah but at least guys only bleed when we do something stupid, like ride a unicycle off the curb.

HHB, it's only something you would use if it fit your lifestyle....probably not the best option if you're a construction worker...

BUT, as Interval said, you can wear it 12 hours, clean it morning and night....so you wouldn't have to deal with it at work.

 

But we can write our names in the snow without leaving foot prints next to all the letters

 

You get TSS from leaving a tampon in too long(depending on absorbancy/size ..but usually over 8 hours). Not from how clean your hands are. ahah.

Think bacteria-moisture, etc., etc....

 

Yeah...he's thinking of food poisoning....we don't eat the tampons....well, most of us don't

 

And from using too high of an absorbancy. If you won't completely saturate it in 6 hours or so, you're using too high of an absorbancy level. Which is one of the great things about the keeper or diva cup -- you can use it even when you're not bleeding heavily enuf to use a tampon.

But, if you've ever had to remove a tampon that wasn't fully saturated & felt how uncomfortable that was -- that's cuz it's causing all kinds of little abrasions on the walls of your vagina.

You get TSS from getting the bacteria in open wounds. So if you don't use tampons, you shouldn't have to worry about TSS unless you get a nasty injury that needs to be bandaged for a while.

 

Au Contraire, the vagina's a pretty sterile enviornment. It's bacteria that can get on the tampon thats the problem, not as much the time its inside. this is much worse in the super absorbent types, and one good method of prevention is keeping them in a cooler dry place, like you room instead of the bathroom.

I love it do we still live in the dark ages, most of the guys are saying eeeeeeeewwwwwwwww whats a period anyway.

I came up with an idea for a custom fit inflatable tampon. I call it BlowTex.


Also thought up an idea for one with a closepin attachment called a Klampon.

Neither idea ever got off the ground but it did make me stop and take a good hard look at the kinds of women I was dating.
