First trip hopeful need some info

okay, so me and some freinds(four of us all together) are planning on tripping for the first time this saturday. Now we're only taking one hit. So my question is, how long should the trip be expected to last, and how intense/what should be the standerd for trips with only one hit?

 

When you take a hit youve never tried, you never know what's going to happen. Even if you are told 50ug, might be just more or less...LSD is fun to discover, what's up with all these people wanting to know what to expect...

Should last like 6-8 hours

LSD trips usually last 6-12 hours, with an average around 8 hours. With today's 1 hit doses, it should only last about 6 hours, possibly up to 8 hours. When the main magical mystery tour effects are over (i.e. some visuals-colors and patterns-and "tracers" (or "strobe-light" like effects), don't expect a rapid return to feeling "normal", like a quick switch. The re-entry is gradual, but all drugs have after-effects that takes hours to wear off. With alcohol, you get a "hang over" and it may take a day to recover, but you don't feel drunk, it's a natural "after effect". It goes away. After a trip NIACINAMIDE (from health food stores) and/or tranquilizers may help you feel more comfortable. But then, tranquilzers have their own "after effects" too.

If a trip lasts over 6-8 hours, don't panic! It's over when it's over. You'll come back. Flow with it, don't fight it! Relaxing is better than being anxious. There is that old tripper's fear of: "I'll never come down!" I saw this phrase wriitten on a University of Michigan dorm stairwell wall. I bet who ever wrote this, that they DID come down! It's just a stupid fear. Get over it. Get past it!

1 hit shouldn't cause a strong or INTENSE trip, it would be more "mild" and "moderate" (or normal), which is good for a first time, and safer. This post has my LSD trip strength chart (from the 70's). Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on your viewpoint), my first LSD trip was with four hits of a powerful 70's acid, called AMBER WINDOWPANE. I had a very intense trip and it took alot longer to fully recover fom that, but I did come down and I'm still here! With LSD, you get what you get and it's over when it's over!

Just expect the "weak" or "average" trips, but always BE PREPARED for an intense trip (although rare from one dose)! If you got ripped off (i.e. no ACID), or an unsually weak dose, you may get no effects, or very weak effects, but I'd say you should at least get mild-moderate effects, lasting 6-8 hours.
