I've been smoking everyday for the past 7 years and now I think its time to quit. I can tell smoking bud is affecting my everyday life. the problem is i really miss smoking and the taste of bud more than the high i got from it. my question is: can anyone recommend any alternatives to the marijuana? I've seen the so called fake weed for sale on the internet, should i try this?

Please, any help would be greatly appreciated

Have you ever tried flavoured tobacco? the sort that you use in a hookah pipe? Its very very mild and you can get all sorts of awesome flavours, everything from vanilla to chocolate to apple, strawberry and so on. I go to Egypt twice a year and stock up with all my favourites but I'm sure you could buy it online and get it shipped over. If you have a muslim or arabic community near you I am sure you would be able to buy it at their local stores. It's quite cheap too. If your in the UK then you will have easy access to hubbly bubbly tobacco and will be able to pick up a beautiful full size shisha pipe for about £50.

i used to smoke knick knick (spelling?) and sometimes my own mixes like damiana mugwort mullin sage, sometimes confry..add a tiny pinch of copal if you want.. red willow bark is nice too
they can give ya a mild buzz even

perhaps u should just cut way back like i did? never buy it or go out of the way looking for it..& only smoke when someone passes ya some
i usualy smoke once a week..to oncce every 3 months, & i dont find it messes with me in any negative ways now
its a wonderful herb, but i think most people way overuse it

dont buy those legal alternatives...99% of them are crap.

id take a month or two off and just spend your money on things you want, but never got cuz your money went towards pot.

i was dry for like 4 months once and by the time i started smoking again i had new clothes, games, movies and tons of other stuff that ended up contributing to my smoking habits cuz i had new stuff to do when stoned.

    legal buds suck

the power is in your mind, if you reallllly wanted to quit you would have by now. i do what that one kid said, just smoke when its available. im sick of looking for it and wasting money on it.

knick-knick, is probly spelled wrong, but its a native smoking blend, the rest u can get from any herb store, you can also look up other herbs used in smoking nlends
the mugwort tho adds allittle bitterness to the blend, but really enhances dreams
mullin is very smooth & the only herb when mixed with pot totaly hides the pot smell, & is actualy good for your lungs
damiana is a relative of canabis i believe & has some of the same properties
copal is a resin..tree sap, tastes flowery & sweet & has a very mild combination opiate & psychodelic effect, but it kinda melts into the screen & hardens so only use a tiny bit at a time or you'll clog up a pipe..
sage is just for taste, ..experiment, but do lil research on what herbs are good for smoking\
edit: also have experimented with lobelia, & sassafrass, & many others, some blends were very tastey, others got u pretty high..the best book i've found is called the herb book wich is pretty thourough (rather thick book) & has whole sections on smoking blends, subsitutes for varius drugs, & treatments for addictions as wellas thousands of other herbal treatments & is 1 of the few herb books that lists the uses of shrooms & canabis & cacti

I'd say a cigarette but you're just pickin up a new bad habit to replace the one not as bad.
