african clothing

    does anyone make african clothing? i would love to have a dashiki made for my husband. he had one, a african wedding shirt that his aunt made him, but it got ruined in the dry cleaning. if anyone knows of a website for african clothes would love to have it.

    i have a red dashiki that i've only worn once if your interested we could work something out. i'll post a pic later today. :D

    A lot of places in Africa just batik their clothes. I have some books on it but there are also some very helpful internet sites on batiking clothing.

    i will be having lots of african textiles to sell soon!
    :)
    i ahve one piece at the moment that my housemate bought from seirra leon.
    il be going to uganda some time next year and will be bringing back some materials.
    couls be off to egypt in the next 6 weeks if work lets me go and they have a very good cotton market there
