Formaldehyde questions

Okay, I have a rather odd story leading up to some questions. I have a bottle of fluid in my room that used to hold a toenail I had removed(sick, I know). The bottle says it expired January of 2003. I know for a fact it contains formaldehyde(it's on the container). I have a buddy that says he'll pay big if I sell it to him to synthesize. So here are my questions:

1: Is it still safe to use?(I'm not doing it, but I don't want people around me dying either.

2: If it is safe, how much should I charge for the stuff? (approx. 2-5 milliliters)

besides, i dont think formaldehyde is a controlled substance so if he wants to kill himself or others he can get it legit.. i would not get involved no matter how much he offered or u could be looking at manslaughter

even if he knows- which seems doubtful by your age (no offense)- it's more difficult and dangerous than he thinks.
