a joint??? one of the servers at work today, got that for a tip...... how crazy is that?? would you want that??
Oh man...I don't know what I'd do if I'd gotten one when I was serving. I'd be afraid it was messed with. It'd depend on the person who gave it to me. I'd probably end up giving it to one of the cooks. They're all nuts. One time when I was working in a six-pack shop someone gave me a little nug as a tip. That ruled. It was good.
wierd, id open it up and inspect it to see if its fucked with, and if i couldnt see anything wrong with it id smoke the sumbitch!
when I delivered pizza in college, I got smoked down or given a bud as a tip several times - it was always more appreciated than the customary 2/3 bucks. that's a little different though. if someone tipped me that way at a restaurant, I'd be a little sketched out. delivering pie, you at least know things are cool because the customers would be all pie eyed (no pun intended), and the bong would be on the coffee table in front of you, so you knew it was cool.
Pot-tip suspect returns, held by police By DAVID C.L. BAUER, The Times-Union A Jacksonville man accused of leaving a half-gram of marijuana on the counter of a St. Johns Town Center coffee shop as a tip was arrested Tuesday after police said he returned to the shop and scuffled with police who tried to talk to him after he was recognized from the day earlier. In the ensuing brouhaha, police said the man's stash of pot and rolling papers spilled out. Delshawn Prejean, 35, of Delray Avenue was charged with battery, resisting an officer, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was being held Wednesday in the Duval County jail. A Sheriff's Office report earlier this week said a customer at the Starbucks coffee shop at St. Johns Town Center walked away after getting his order Monday and telling the server "I left your tip on the counter." When the employee looked down, she told police she saw a small amount of unwrapped marijuana. But the man was gone. A man who looked like the customer returned to the same Starbucks on Tuesday evening. A security officer and police were called and watched as the customer paid for his order and left. When he got to the door, police said the security officer identified himself and the customer kept right on going. Police officer F.D. Lockley said he intervened and a struggle ensued out the coffee shop door and into the parking lot, where others helped subdue the man. During the struggle -- which left the security officer, police officer and suspect with minor cuts and abrasions -- a box the man was holding in his hand came open and about 17 grams of marijuana and rolling papers fell out, police said.
That's a beautiful tip... Some kid at the restaurant where my girlfriend works left a big fat J and a dimebag sitting on a table one night...and she was the first one to see it...and she DIDN'T TAKE IT oh, t'was a sad evening at the Grim household that night. Sometimes I still get a little teary eyed when I think of what might have been.
I wouldn't take it... but then, I don't indulge in pot at all. Just not for me. I'd probably look all uncomfortable and be like "mmm, no thanks" it seems a little rude I guess, unless your'e sure they use pot. I mean, it's not a tip that is universally acceptable, it can't be used everywhere, it can't be exchanged for say food that may be needed. But, that's just my opinion. Expect monetary tips only from me folks
