Magic Bus Ride

I'm sure all of you have thought about how great it would be to be part of something similar to what Ken Kesey and the pranksters did with their psychedelic bus trip around the country, playing music, taking LSD, turning people on, having a great time and feeling the eternal brotherhood with people you've never met before allowing yourself to be open, vulnerable and true. So my random thought is this: a email list of people who would at least honestly consider if the opportunity presented it's self, to leave what they knew, and hop aboard a new style of "turned on" life that would have peace, communal living and higher states of awareness as it's base, no firm rules, no regulations, no age limits, no leader, no egos no plan. It's really very simple to make dreams and visions turn into realities when a group of turned on minds comes together. Think about it and if you like the idea, just email me so I have your email adress. I think brotherhood does exist and is felt much more easily when the realization of the nonexistance of time is felt. I think the only thing holding everyone back from a feeling of eternal brotherhood with all beings is the ego and ego simply can not exist once the illusion of time is dropped.

You might be able to do it easier if the Bus ran on Vegetable Oil.... Id really like something like that... I think it could happen... What we know as reality, can totally be altered and is most beneficial... but its a pretty tricky one

It's me again, just back to comment on a couple of questions.
"Is it just a trip?, meaning temporary?" no, time doesn't exist, nor does ownership of the bus, or anything, the moment is all that's ever here. "It" meaning the bus, could turn into a bad thing, because we start dwelling on a nonexistant future.
I don't look at "it" as being a succes or a failure, more of a building up of energy that might form into a transportation piece called a bus.

What about minors? Figure it out then, there's always a way around.

Do we form to reality or do we form reality. "You" form it for yourself, "We" don't exist.

Go ahead and drive while she trips, just make sure you're forming your own reality, then you'll know wether or not to be on the bus with that person. Go ahead and wreck the bus, there's always more metal.

Go ahead and argue about rules or desisions, getting mad is a great time to look back at ourselves, observe those thoughts, watch how believing in time forms my ego and then comes off on you as level "6" consiousness, Leary scale Exo-Psychology.

What does no rules mean, how will that not harm the whole? Highly consious people don't need rules, I'll leave it at that.

How to get money? Money's simply my moment using one of these work, skill, or trade to get it. Money's easy.

I just installed a wood stove a cool little drawer, a ceiling sleeping bag holder, and a speaker in my VW bus. No plans, just the moment, everythings always fine.

I think both of you have excellent points, one about why such a thing needs rules and boundaries, and one about why such a thing would be damaged by rules and boundaries--but let's not argue about it, it's a waste of time. Different people will see things differently, and both viewpoints may work.

 

just got your email. we'll need to sit down and write out a list of essentials. not to mention a headcount. you mentioned vancouver. do you own land? know someone who does? we'll have to pool together different skill sets after the headcount. who can do what? lets drag everyone back into this thread

 

Are you really planning on having people that are underage living on your bus with you? You are going to have a lot of trouble traveling.
