My point exactly, sex is the way to REPRODUCE, not just something to do for pure fun like "american eagle" catalogues would have you believe.

 

i mean, yhink of all the energy that would be saved is sex wasen't such a fucked up issue: for us girls it involves all the process of getting attractive, and you guys have NO idea how much time/pressure/money/anxiety it takes from us, all from spending hours in shops to find the right outfit, then coming home and realising it was no good, spending the next day lookking for something.......... shaving...... hair fixing (colour blabla).........meditation and yoga (i don't bullshit you, many of us use it before a date so we can look and feel more beautiful/relaxed/naturally high.......... and so much more........JUST TO GET SOME.........cock, or whatever.
This is going totally insane, sex should be something else than this desperate bullshit.
And, it also YOUR responsability guys, because when you choose, you'll choose the one with the sexiest/prettiest look, what you don't know, is that it is so dam easy so FAKE and deceive who you are, trust me, i was an absolut expert in my younger days.

you didn't offend me, I guess we might have not really interpreted what either of us wrote correctly. I just think that too many things are pushed at people by the media and sex is one of them...they exploit it in order to get people's attention and I just think that it is time that people wake up and don't get reeled into it because they cannot think beyond the tip of their um...nose. Sex really isn't all that it is played up to be, it's really not some kind of rite of passage or anything, young people especially need to understand that.

right on, I mean, some people think that sex is some kind of artform that they themselves invented and they think that they are cool because they can do something that basically anyone can do. Yeah, real achievement there. Whatever they want to do though.

 

I'm likely to make myself unpopular but that won't be the first time I guess so here goes.....I have thought for quite a while that the LEGAL age of consent should be raised (in UK it's 16) - perhaps even make it a standard worldwide,
and give some real incentive for people to stick to that age or punish them for
not doing so! I personally know some 18yo's that shouldn't be let anywhere within 2000 miles of a member of the opposite sex and a bed!! Also I know some kids that are under 16 that have the right mental attitude and could mentally handle sex (if not physically) but a standard needs to be set and I think 20 or 21 would be a good place to start!

 

Thats my point, but underage sex is just as bad, there's too many kids at it and they just shouldn't be putting their health at risk and breaking the law and getting away with it.

 

there is way too much false information out there about sex though... if we raise the age of consent there is still tons of available porn everywhere... i think it's more important to educate kids about what they're doing so that they have the knowledge to BE SAFE. abstinence-only sex ed doesn't work and neither will raising the age of consent. puberty won't start hitting kids later and there'll still be LOTS of horny teens running around wanting to satisfy those urges (like the OP) what they need to know is how to do it safely, and even without intercourse but still with another person... or even new fun ways to masturbate. hehe i think a kama sutra for mastubation needs to be invented lol

 

Well I don't know about FALSE information, sex underage isn't good for anyone and at the moment its being ignored by the people in power. When did you last hear of a boy getting in trouble for having sex with his girlfriend if they are both under the legal age? Only time it ever gets mentioned is if the girl gets pregnant. The fact is - it's still WRONG and it's still ILLEGAL.
I think the UK law is set too young, 16 is just not the right age. As for horny teens running around, whats changed from when I was young?

 

I think 16s fine. Yeah, some people are immature at 16. Some at 18. Some at 30. Where does it end? At 16 i believe you SHOULD be a responsible adult(especially girls, who mature a couple of years ahead of the boys) Many arent. Doesnt mean the rest should have their human rights taken away.

I don't understand what the big deal is all about. 200 years ago, or even 100 years, most women were legally married as early as 10 years old. As soon as you could, you would have a kid. Adults ask why it happened if their daughter gets pregnant, but it's been happening since people were people. Sex isn't a huge deal, and besides, it's your body, and as long as you know the risks, it IS your choice of what you do with yourself. Consent laws are basically pointless. The way I see it, teenagers are out there having sex, and parents should accept it. Like I said: Your body, your choice.
