Go to the hardware store and pick out a really long and thick nail. I think they're usually about 20cm, but they could be bigger. Slap one of them bitches on the track, and you have a dagger! Just take it home, and drill two holes in the handle-end and then screw a wooden handle on, or just tape the handle up and sharpen the blade.
