Hey guys i need some help.... starting this week in Sydney on the Northern beaches a race riot has started against aussies and middle eastern teens i hate this and i don't know how i can help i am sooo embarresed, these australians to me are gutless and disrespectful it makes me sick what should i do i can't change anythign i know that it's been done but people are going to die and it is changing the way i see this country even though it was only a selected amount of teens mostley male and they were all drunk i want to try and help change there racist views australia is a multi cultural society we open anyone with open arms in hope of giving others a new life for the future of there children... aussie drink, noy fight Australia has never been like this and it is scaring me how do we get them to listen.... you can't end violence with violence ****PEACE**** what a disgrace (
wildreamer you get them to listen by being vocal just like you are here on this post. write letters to your newspaper saying how you feel about this racist profiling. speak out against it, but also keep yourself safe. have a rally or protest to stand up for the victims and ethnic population angel

I saw the reports on the news. I was disgusted, not only because there were these riots, but because there were 5000 PARTICIPANTS. THAT was sickening. I really don't know what can be done about it. The only thing the Aussies have on their side right now is that a great many American television stations don't see the Cronulla riots as worthy of reporting, so there's very little bad press. Also, I'm sure the 5000 aren't representative of all Australians...I don't know where I'm going with this. Good luck.
