Anyone seen the news about them - they are still putting them out and it might take like 3 days, they are using something like 32,000 gallons of water a minute!!! and mixing it with foam and stuff - They dont even know how they started yet and the smoke is heading south (nearer to me eeekkkkk) I hope no-one from here is close to it or anything!!!
Did anyone else feel the shockwave when it blew? I'm in High Wycombe (around 40 miles away) and it woke me up, and I'm not the only on as well apprently
bloody hell really - thats bad stuff. I dont think anyone has died yet which is good - i just hope they control it before it fucks the enviroment even more!!
i read somewhere that people heard the blast as far away as holland! my sis lives just south of london and she said it woke her up, now she and my other sis who lives in Reading are saying that they've got all the black smoke.

I'm from reading area, but in cardiff at the mo so didn't hear anything. think i was sleeping probably or dozing. eek. quite scary all the panic buying. people are rather like lemmings i think/.///
I think it woke me up also.. but i dunno.. i also thought i heard planes had hit it.. I have not been feeling well the last couple of days.. I am suprised this has not been talked about more around here..even if it is only the 'conspiracy nuts'..
According to the BBC it was heard up to 100 miles away, so I think the Holland thing is probably made up
