Okay so my girlfriend and I were on our way to my car after school one day, and she see's this kid whos smoking and asked for a drag. Than she expected me to kiss her and walk her in to her house. See I quit smoking a while ago, and she takes a drag now and then, and im cool with other smokers, ive got no problem with you smokers, go for it, its stress releiving! But I don't want to kiss her considering shes got this guys man spit on her lips, and I don't no if this kid has herpes to the lips or mono or any of those nasty diseases. is that normal for one to act like i did and not kiss her back? or am i just being jerk? i dont no i need advice please!
I'd just let her know that the taste is unpleasant now... and carry breathmints so you have a quick fix if she does decide to have a drag. Personally, I won't kiss someone who's been smoking either, because the taste is nasty nasty nasty
You quite smoking? That's pretty unusual. If you have some tips on how to do that, there might be some people on these forums who are interested (try Health). I quit as well, but it was pot, not cigs, so I didn't have any nicotine issues.
Thanks for the tip! anyway, i used to smoke both pot and cigarettes but i quit both. im all about drinking now, its so relaxing and fun. anyway i fixed the problem, everythings all good now!
Oh and about your post, no I don't think it's weird for you to not want to kiss her after smoking. I don't think mints would even do the trick!
OK, so, like the other people who have responded, I would totally understand and say it were normal if you were complaining about the taste of cigarette smoke as the reason you didn't want to kiss her.... But... So how long did you go without kissing her? If you're really worried about diseases, well, does anyone know the incubation period for herpes? I mean, if it's only been a few days, even mono probably wouldn't be showing up yet! Don't kiss her yet! Or is it just the psychological neurosis about some other man's spit? In which case, yes, that is a very weird reaction, especially if she has wiped her mouth since (it's not like she was french kissing some other guy, just took a drag off a cigarette). You probably get more of some stranger's spit particles on you when they sneeze or cough without covering their mouth than you would from kissing her after she took a drag from his cig!
yea dude, dont worry about 'man-spit'. i mean come on ever share a drink or a smoke/pipe, same difference.
hahaha speaking of herpes, i have a small form of them (cold sores) eh, the whole situation involved me being jealous and shit. it was her ex boyfriends smoke. and im not worried about diseases, i just dont like this kid.oh well.
