What is a good way to start selling hemp jewelry. I thought I about getting a blanket one day and going to a rest stop. I just don't want to risk getting in any legal trouble. Any ideas?

I would always ask the owner of the place if you can have their permission to lay out a blanket and vend~(just to save ya from any trouble) ~you could also try your local headshops they maybe interested in buying~or try selling on ebay~Just some ideas~
Maybe you could find out if there are local markets that are held often. If there is, try and find out more about it.. you might be able to sell your hemp jewellery there. Hope it all works out 4 u!
If there are any flea markets or swap meets,are a good place to sell.Also second hand stores are a good place and most owners don't ask for that large of a commission.Think of places that you yourself shop at,and the reasons why.Then approach those businesses about selling your stuff.
i used to carry them around school and people would come to me. i carried quite a few. you could try finding a public place with a high amount of foot traffic and just walk around there. just making them visable will attract attention and people will come to you. peace, bob
Howdy- Did you try sitting in a park or some public place and making em? It's not illegal to craft in public. When people start to notice that you're making an absolutely nifty necklace that's when you bring out the bag of the other ones you've already made. If there's a college around you (junior/community colleges too) go sit where people will walk past you on their way to and from the busiest building (liberal arts most likely). Or wherever the hackey sack game is going on, not too far from that is always good, but I'm not sure if there's a hacking circle on every campus... It's not illegal to sell in public places if someone comes up to you and starts talking first as far as I know, but I'd stay away from rest stops as the highway patrol has to recycle their coffee and donuts somewhere, and ask before setting out your blankie... I can always put them up on my web site,,as long as you have good photos and descriptions. Then if I get an order I can send it to you and you can ship it out. This would work if you had a paypal account,,I would just send the money & order to you?? I have been wanting to add more stuff to my site!
