just search for 'hippie patchwork pants' or 'hippie patchwork hoodie'. whatever you search for make sure you put in 'hippie patchwork' too & you will get lots of results for handmade stuff.

I feel ya. I think that a lot of people who make handmade clothes make them pretty much in their own size and for their own gender. I mean, there are exceptions, but when you're making your own patterns, it's the simplest thing to do.

I find that a lot of people selling handmade hippy clothes online sell women's clothes for tiny little women with tiny little boobs. So I have to make my own. Even in my skinnier, pre-motherhood body the busts would have strangled me.

I think you'll have success using the search tips that people offered. Good luck. Or find the webpage of someone who does make handmade hippy clothes and ask them to make you something. That will certainly work.

JuJu has a few patterns for men's clothes (including patch pannel pants and such) that she is working on for the webiste. Contact her if you have anything you want.

That is one of my biggest petpeeves about shopping online. Most people tend to make small sizes and for someone like me who is a 38DD and a size 14 waist. I don't have much luck in the premades area.

That is what pretty much got me sewing my own clothing. I could make what I liked in my own size.

Well some of you big boobied women need to come visit me. I fall into that category of making stuff in my size because I am scared to make something that won't fit someone right. If I had a model that was bigger than me, it would be different. My dressform is so funky lopsided and she is no help. If I expand her out to bigger sizes she is never even and nuts and bolts fall out of her. lol

Julie works with all sizes. She especially works with larger gals like herself. She understands what some women are concerned about covering and such. Whenever she makes a top, skirt, pants, etc., she asks for your measurments so you know it will be right the first time.
If you are local (lubbock area) she will measure you in person.
