Does anyone know which brand is best? (I know none of them are very healthy) Like which ones without ephedra work best? Ive been trying to look on the net but I don't know which articles are reliable and which ones aren't. Anyone with first hand experience? or know someone who has used them?
I used to be severely addicted to diet pills. My suggestion is that none of them are good. I was even told by my doctor to take some crap from GNC to lose weight, and that was the worst thing I could have done. They made me dizzy and sick to my stomach. On top of that, they did absolutely nothing for my apetite or weightloss and they were mega expensive. I did get my money back for them though which is the good thing about GNC. If you want to lose weight, there is no miracle pill. If there were don't you think we all would have taken it by now and everyone would be thin? If you are seriously committed to losing weight to lead a healthier lifestlye, my suggestion is to start an exercise program. If you need help with that I can help you. I'm not a personal trainer yet, but I am going to school for it. I'm helping someone else here. Second, I suggest finding a "diet" (lifestlye change) that suits you. Make sure it is well balanced (meaning Adkins is out!) The best one that I am aware of is Weight Watchers. I am personally maintaining on WW. I've lost over 150lbs in my life (all but this last 15 on my own with no program). If you need a workout buddy, or you want further nutrition advice, you can do some searches on google, check out the weight watchers website, many tools are free, you can even do it online, or feel free to contact me any time and ask me questions. I might not know the answers but I can ask my professors and check my books for you.
^^I completely agree. Don't go on a diet, live the diet. When people go on a diet, they eat good, takes pills, and work out, but when they slim down, they go back to watching TV and eating chips. Thus, they get fat again. You need to eat good and exercise. Not alot, but like a half hour every day. When you exercise, your metabolism goes up, which burns calories. It'll stay up there too, giving that you exercise on like an every other day basis. Just remember, if you burn more calories than you eat, you'll lose weight. Also, eat little portions. American food portions are a joke. My mom has this plate that is sectioned off, and basicly, each portion is labeled, meats, carbohydrates, vegetables, fruit. When she wants something, like say some bread, she breaks off a piece thats the size of the portion on the plate.
well I dont know if these have ephedra but I've heard good things about HerbaLife. supposedly its all natural. But its quite expensive at least on the net. hm also back in the days of me doing speed I (didnt know but) I was buying a diet pill from my dealer called Stacker II(2). They had a ver speed like high and were also supposedly all natural. I lost weight on them of course not on purpose. Be careful with them...they make you speeded up.... I dont recommend that you take diet pills but if you feel you must... maybe i helped? Tracy
Ok smartass, since you will not take the advice of people trying to help you. Go out and experiment a little. Hey you know what is good for weight loss, crack. It is so good. Go down to the corner alley and see if you can get some. You'll be thin in a week. And so healthy and beautiful. Or if you are wealthy, coke is good, lasts longer than crack too. Hey mix them together and see what happens! There is nothing out there that works. That is what I was trying to explain to you, but you won't listen. So just go figure it out by taking different pills, until your liver and your kidneys are so fucked up that you end up on dialysis or carrying a shit bag around with you for the rest of your life. Or better yet, you can do what I did and black out from taking them (almost behind the wheel of a vehicle!) If you have a serious medical condition, btw, your doctor can help you, but there is no damn pill that can make you thin. how's that for answering your question?
lmao...calm down there sparky! oh and maybe you wouldn't have blacked out if you werent addicted to them...I plan on following the instructions. lol And thanks to those of you who made suggestions...you know without being rude and crabby!
coffee is the same thing as diet pills...you will get addicted and have mad diharrea though so yeah, relax..have some coffee
Metabolife works but it's not very fast. I hear Trillosec is a very fast working weightloss supplement. You can lose like 5 lbs a week with the recommended dosage...but it's only for people that are like 50 lbs or more overweight...
When I started taking them I was not addicted to them I was 16 years old. And I was taking them according to the package. Dexatrim. They worked for about 2 months, then they didn't work anymore, and my old apetite came back. So I looked for something stronger, luckily the whole ephedra craze was going on. So I hopped on the band wagon. They made me speed around like a nut! The original ephedra that I had in form of a diet pill, worked. I lost weight on it, and kept it off. As an added bonus, even by following directions, and drinking plenty of water, I still ended up with extremely bad kidney infections, to the point where I had to be hospitalized. And I was still only following the directions. Then after I got better, I decided I still wanted that speeded up feeling, and I still want to lose like 15lbs. So in came the Stackers and Stackers 2, 3. And you know what was great, I worked for a pharmacy, and I got free bottles all of the time. Still taking them according to package, I didn't die and my heart didn't explode, but I still had kidney problems. I did follow the directions on the package, did exactly what it said. But when I didn't take them for a day, I went through withdraw, and I was cranky, and showed symptoms of being addicted to them. That is why I decided to not take them anymore. I still have Stackers 2 and 3 at my house, the ones with ephedra in them, not the new ones. And you think I was rude, check our your post chica, you said no one was answering your question, and not in a very nice way. I did answer it to begin with, you just chose to ignore my advice. And what I posted after is the truth. Coke and crack will both make you lose weight. You are obviously not serious about being healthy or you would change your lifestyle not pop pills. Therefore, I cannot help you. If you ever want advice on proper diet or exercise program, come find me, that is what I'm trainned to teach people. I guess some people just have to figure it out the hard way. I just hope I don't have to read about you in the news.
Dexatrim & Hydroxycut work for alot of people also. Years ago I took the dexatrim and lost some weight with it. I had no luck at all with Hydroxycut last year. Guess different pills work differently on everybody. Coffee and those dumb over-the -counter wake up pills only kept me awake for my jobs but were lousy for any real energy and even worse on my mental health and they don't do a thing for me when I want to lose weight. It doesn't do any good to pop diet pills if you're still going to eat cake, ice cream, chips and tons of greasy food. No pill (or Hollywood diet drink)will melt the added fat while you sleep. If you really want to lose weight then instead of grabbing the junk, go grab the frisbee and take the kids & dogs to the park or nearest hiking trail. Pack fruit & bottled water and have a fun day.
