anyone been to the parties at this place? I've been once and am planning to go again. Basically it's a Psy-trance CD shop/hippy cafe but they clear out stock on fridays and have a 100-200 people rave from 11 till 7. It's in the stables market in camden across the street from cyberdog(i saw that shop for the first time when i was like 14 and damn it was surreal).

If you go you might see some 60 yr old dude called roger ravin it up in the chillout room/cafe(wtf hes the only one dancing there). I've decided after talking to him that maybe too much acid can be bad for you. In general the atmosphere is well good with open joint smoking/chillin upstairs. remember it has to be prerolled, exposed skunk can be confiscated by the bouncer tho hes just gonna take it round the corner to smoke.

downstairs is the complete opposite, dancing in some cramped space with a hundred other psy-trance afficionados is always gonna be good fun.

maybe well see eachother and not know it next time i decide to go if i've persuaded you all to attend as well

I think the parties are every friday, with the exceptions of ones where they organise much larger events in proper venues. The website hasnt been updated since november so that is no use. i'm gonna be in Camden next weekend anyway so I'll find out then.

Yeah it would be cool to have a hipforums night out at a psy-trance rave. Anyone else seen this shop before? If you've been round the stables market you've probably seen it.

Yes I have!!! I abolutely LOVE that place!!
So trippy and psychadelic, hence the name. The small bookshop is really cool too. I remember before, before the antishroom law, there was always a board saying certain nights were magic mushroom nights... That must have been interesting...

yeah its cool when you can talk to someone online about somewhere you really like. Anyway me and hairbear are thinking of organising a hip-forums night out at a dream temple party, and 3 is a better number of us than 2. It'll be really cool as we are all roughly the same age. me-16 hairbear-16 you-17 right?

see you on the dancefloor saturday. It turns out acid monkey is in the worst club venue in London- Jack's club *vomits*, so I'm going to the dream temple instead. And on sunday I'm going to a cyberdog free party from 6-30 till 11-30 (it ends really early at 1 anyway) but its a sunday and you need at lease 1 night of rest.

I believe it moved a couple of streets away. I don't know if the cafe is still there though.
