You know how how it says "Intened for legal smoking only" it means tabacoo right? If that's true then why the hell would you want to smoke tabacco outta a bong?

well i cant see a bong but peoples smoke fruity tabacco out of hookas

 

all the high quality glass blown art bongs or whatever are usually for weed but for legal reasons they have to say its for tobacco smoking purposes only. Infact some headshops will kick you out if you say "bong" instead of what your supposed to call it such as a tobacco water bubbler.

Tommy Chong was arrested for selling "bongs" on the internet some time ago.

 

yeah, if they don't put the "intended for tobacco only" on the bongs and bowls, they won't be able to sell them. although, everyone knows why you go buy a bong or a nice bowl. as far as headshops, they are really strick with what you say. if you say anything like: bong, bowl, bubbler, or anything close to using the piece for somking weed, they will kick you out and not let you back in that day. they usually have a big sign when you walk in that says that. i always thought that it was funny. i mean, if everyone knows why your buying the bong, and there are no cops, why not say bong or talk about a little mary jane? there is a head shop by me that has that sign, yet they sell 420 cleaner and detox right next to the bongs and bowls. it always made me laugh.


even buying papers and blunts can be a pain. a friend of mine got a blunt wrap from a sev and a cop saw them and pulled them over and kept them there for a 1/2 an hour questioning them and tryin to get info on who smokes and sells in my town. it's pretty lame.

 

Yeah, when I worked at Starship, any time someone said "bong" we had to kick them out. We had to say "waterpipe". The store was also a pornshop, but it was against the rules to say "porn", because, apparently, porn is illegal. It is "adult entertainment". Stupid technicalities.

The only word thats banned at my local headshop is bong. Otherwise Bowl and Bubbler are still acceptable.

 

Apparently, it's been illegal for quite a while. I don't know the specifics, but I think that, according to the law, they are supposed to sell it labelled as "adult entertainment" or "adult novelties". You can still buy porn, you just can't call it "porn".

It's pretty stupid.

 

its not as crazy as you would think, once after being dared by a mate i packed a bong with a whole cigarettes worth of tabacco. I kept a torch flame on it and kept on toking until in one drag the whole bowl was ash. I held it in for about 10 seconds until i got what was probably the fattest head rush ill ever experience in my life, accompanied by a huge body high (stronger than opium) and hysterical laughing. Shame it only lasted about 30 seconds and i felt sick afterwards...

Oh and i don't ever smoke tabacco, only weed, so the fact that i don't have any nicotine tolerance probably was a big factor in this

 

hmm at the head shops around here people seem to be cool with what ever you say bong, bubbler, Pipe, weed buster.. blah blah right... hmm and i think even when they advertise they say some of those words.. hmm interesting i guess.. lol

and yeah smoking tobacco out of a bong would be kinda sick.. inless like it was home grown tobacco or something without all those sick chemicals and such.

 

I bought weed from this guy one time, and he has a bong strictly for smoking tobacco. now granted this guy is clinically insane from a bad trip on acid where he tried to tackle moving cars and he now thinks hes jesus but still there are people who like smoking tobacco out of a bong. THAT MO'FO IS CRAZY

 

I love Canada. I go down to the head shop and say "yo Lois let me check that blue bong out".
