why doesnt anyone here like these new albums from system of a down?? right now, I think mesmerize is pretty amazing.... I love the harmonizing between darron and serj........ the riffs arent bad either...... dont say anything about it getting overplayed on the radio, because I remember when toxicity was released... chop suey, aerials, and the title track were overplayed ad nauseum....... hypnotize isnt as good as mesmerize, as of right now, but I need to listen to it more......
They're alright, never been a big fan of System.. It's just kind of one of those bands I can listen to only a few times before I get sick of them for a while Mesmerize is definitely better than Hypnotize.
gawd........ I just cant get over these albums...... there is just something about them. I dont know, for me it just flows so well.......
I got the new system cd today and I absolutely love it. Is anyone else this satisfied with their new system cd? It's called Hypnotize.
Had it for a week...alot heavier than Mezmerize. Mezmerize was abit too slow...only thing I'm not digging is the repetitive lyrics. I also wish Darron would just STFU every once in awhile; you never heard 'em on SOAD...it's just a shame since Serj has such a great voice.
Yeah I really love the two new albums. I love just getting really stoned and laying down and listening to them. It's so relaxing. I think they are like the modern day Queen, because Queen had such cinematic songs just like system does. Dunno, maybe, maybe not.
I like Soad. I actually saw their concert in Chicago not too long ago ^^ Mesmerize is my favorite of their cds so far, but I still need to get the new one.
i like the new cds from SOAD.. actually starting to like hypnotized better than mezmerized... its actually a better album when they are both combined... both cds fit on one cd-r lol... i like their new stuff seems a lot more politically directed than Toxicity.. which to me sounded like a sell out album.. nothin beats their first album though
they kinda annoy me for some reason that I can't quite understand, that is okay though, it does not matter that much, I'd really rather listen to something else. I remember when they first started being cool back in the day, that was about the same time as Linkin Park (who totally suck in the worst way) and I think that they kindof turned me off from any music that people could possibly also like that resembled anything like them at all because it seemed that only confused angry teenagers with no concept of anything but drugs, violence and fucking liked that sort of thing, maybe I have the wrong impression I don't know.
