Secret Pal Swap: SIGN UP IS OPEN NOW

Okay, I have decided that I am going to organize a little swap here. Anyone intested in signing up for the swap, please post in here or email me (dm8madonna@yahoo.com), I am only looking to see who is interested right now and how many people I can get to sign up. Once I know for sure I have enough willing participants I will get things rolling.

The sign up will start this month and then the actual swap will began Jan 1st and end March 31st.

If you are interested here are the rules and guidlines.

Rules
1. Please email me (dm8madonna@yahoo.com) or post in this thread by the 22nd of the month prior to the start of exchange if you would like to participate.

2. A questionnaire will be e-mailed to you during the sign up month. :read Returning the questionnaire adds you to the final participation list. It is not required that you answer the questions, but it is an excellent way for your secret pal to get to know a little about you.

3. Secret Pal assignments will be e-mailed to you on the 1st of the beginning exchange month. You will only have one secret pal per exchange.

4. There will be a $15-20 spending limit for the exchange period. This limit applies to items specifically purchased for your secret pal. Things that are already in your stash/collection do not have to count toward this amount unless you wish it to. It can be handmade items that you make yourself or things you wish to buy for your secret pal from other places. You may send one large package or many small packages over the course of the exchange.

5. Please keep in touch with your pal. Send your pal notes in the mail or email. Three months is a long time. Notes are nice and e-cards are free. )

6. E-mail the coordinator when you send or receive a package from your secret pal so that she can keep track in case something goes amiss.

7. Please thank your pal for her thoughtfulness when you receive something. It will make her/his day. Thank you’s can be posted on the Hipforums message board with a final thank you that can be sent via e-card or postal card when your secret pal is revealed.

8. Make sure your postage and receiver’s address is correct before mailing. Mark your package with “Hipforums Secret Pal Swap”. If you'd like to keep your mailing address secret, use your secret pal's address as the return address, but if you do, make sure you've got the right address.

9. You may reveal your identity anytime during the last month of the exchange.

10. Since we are an international group, everyone is more than welcome to participate, that means that your pal may live across the world. Keep this in mind when mailing items.

I'm going to wait till i get enough people than I will psot back and let you know...the swap may end up on hold till Feb.
