What are some good shampoos/soap bars for dreading hair? I havn't combed my hair for a couple of months and no knots in sight. I realized my shapoo is probably the reason. What are some good things I can buy in local stores?

I love Dr. Bronner's Bar soap with tea tree oil...that's what I've used for awhile now...

    All organic products :)

I second the Dr. Bonner stuff but I also found this way cool stuff at a buck store. Its natures own sandalwood soap. It's amazing!

It's probably not your shampoo, unless it's a shampoo plus conditioner.

Everybody bitches about how bad regular shampoo is... I've never, ever had a problem with it.

Rub your head with a sweater for ten minutes before you shower then wash it with bar soap. I have the straightest hair ever, and mine's knotted up quite well.
