lol, i just found out that my friend from elementary who was like a straight A student smokes. Its just pathetic how they are trying to restrict our living life styles. On the positive side..i just scored a fat $20 sack.

I had the television on the other day and was on the computer, chances are I was on the forums, and I heard this woman's voice and saw a guy sitting on a bed with his hand in his mouth and the nurse was talking for him. Sounded like a Hardee's commercial, then they started talking about being under the influence. I busted out laughing for like 5 minutes. That's just getting pure retarded. Haven't seen the fishbowl one though.

 

I realized watching this, that the war on pot is no longer waged in the name of public safety as it was before seeings all their 'facts' about pot are being disproved as fast as they can make them up. Now, instead, the war on pot is an ideological war. The government telling people what to do and what not to do not for their saftey, but just because its how the government feels the people should act. Meanwhile all the idiots absorbing these lies and propaganda will tell themselves that they're living in a free and fair country...

 

i dnt kno if its just me but i think those anti weed commericals are just advertising the magic leaf to everykid that wants to make trouble or looking for a new experience

 

i dont think we get those ads over here. but we have commercials against all drugs like x, pot, acid and coke.
they are bullshit.
i had a arguement with my teacher the other day about how if tobacco (which kills thousands of poeple a year) is legal then pot (which hasnt once killed anyone) should be legal too.

I saw this one where this chickand her friend were sitting on a couch and a chair. And the one on the couch was in like a puddle and the "camera man" was asking her something and her friend that was normal was like, " Oh she wont answer you, this is what it's been like since she started smoking pot. All we do is sit around." and omg i was laughing so fucking hard. Pot doesnt make ppl all that lazy. I mean of course alot of us have a day like that every once and a while where we just sit around and play video games or watch movies and eat but not every damn day. I don't particularly enjoy smoking pot myself, but advertising the idea that marijuana use is 'wrong' or 'bad' is just ludicrous. I haven't seen the mentioned commercials yet, but I did a little research and found a lot of disgruntled viewers. Seems the ONDCP's "Above the Influence" campaign is "intended to steer teens away from bad decisions". Of course, alcohol isn't really an issue. Tom Riley, a representative of ONDCP, stated "If teens also read into this that it is an anti-alcohol message, that doesn't hurt the anti-drug message." They can't come right out and say it though, that would defeat the purpose of the preceeding beer commercial.

The endeavored prohibition of marijuana use has nothing to do with peer pressure or social awareness, and can't be substantiated by any unbiased research results anywhere. It's just marketing of government propaganda, something which has no redeeming social value but involves a lot of money. Peer pressure is tough, and excessive use of any drug is harmful. But the notion of pot being an inherently dangerous drug is totally absurd.

Has anybody seen the one where the kid has his own hand stuck in his mouth? The nurse is comparing getting your hand stuck in your mouth to smoking weed. hahaha As much bullshit as they spout off on those commercials, you really can't say they're not fucking hilarious. If for no other reason than for the amount of ignorance portrayed in them. hahaha

 

Yeah they certainly make me laugh because they are so ridiculous. The fucked up thing is that probably somewhere around half of the people believe this propaganda.

 

I know, it's pathetic. It's time that some government officials step forward and start speaking the truth about our friend Mary.
