i have heard that the only way to activate thc in mj is to heat the bud but can u get high from just eating it in your cereal or somthing like that by simply adding it to the food?
also what exactly is that high like from eating rather than smoking and how is it different?
    recommended doses? ect..

You dont "activate the thc its just there. When you eat it however its more of a body high so you dont feel as goofy. And when you smoke it, it's just grand.

I'm not sure about heat, but I don't think it needs to be heated. But it must be in something that would get absorbed into your system, which is the reason, for example, for using butter, not margarine, in brownies.

THC is only oil and alcohol soluable.
Meaning, you can't get high from eating pot unless it's mixed with oil or alcohol.
You could eat 1/4 of the finest dank and you won't get high--unless it's mixed with oil or alcohol.
Oil doesn't HAVE to be heated with the pot, but it's way quicker and way more complete if you simmer the pot/oil mixture for 30 minutes before adding to reciepe's.
P.S. any type of oil works--butter, margerine, Crisco or other shortenings, or foods with a high oil content, like milk or cream.
