Bush was asked to speak for the NAACP, but he said, "I have nothign to say to them, and they have nothing to say to me." Sounds like Bush may be hiding his white hood under his hood!

 

Care to give us proof?

 

Well, seeing as how the NAACP, in effect, denounced Bush and urged its members to support Kerry, it shouldn't be a surprise that Bush would decline the offer. Sort of like what Kerry would do if the NRA made a similar offer.

Thanks for the article, but i don't blame him. Why should he speak there? They aren't even moderating similar. That'd be like me speakin at a democratic convention.

 

Well, I agree. As much as I don't like Bush, I don't blame anyone for not wanting to speak there. The politcs the NAACP play are every bit as dirty as Bush's. Of course John Kerry, Bill Clinton, and all the other Democrats will speak there, but that's because the Democratic Party relys on pandering to black voters. If it wasn't for black voters, rich, white men like John Kerry would never even stand a chance in getting elected.

It's all a big horse & pony show.

 

If Bush did show up at the NAACP, he's proably get beat down and mugged on the way out. It's a security issue, ya know? But seriously, what did you expect. What can he possibly say to an associatin whose very existence goes against his political beliefs? Like someone else said, it's like Kerry going to an NRA convention. Not gonna happen.

Bush is the first President since Herbert Hoover not to speak at the NAACP. It's very rare for a President to not address the NAACP at least once.

BTW, a Gallup poll showed only 12% of Blacks support Bush.

 

That's an increase, 1 in 9 black voters voted for bush in 2000.

 

It seems to me Bush does not want to win the election...he's doing everything possible to blow it
