i just had my first day of vegetarianism yesterday and i already feel loads better...i started what became a rather heated post a few months ago about how i was not myself veg, but supported the lifestyle. i never did eat much meat to begin with, but i'm finding even cutting out the tiny bit of meat i did eat before to make a huge difference. i didn't switch because of anything anyone else said to me...i converted because i was a vegetarian once for 6 years, and i remember that i ate so much better then than i do now, and i have come to the conclusion that it's one of the most healthy ways to eat in our modern society. there are also ethical issues at hand, here....before, i didn't even eat meat on a daily basis anyway, so it's not like it was hard for me to make the switch...either way, i am veggie now and i'll be back to this forum to post, etc.
congrats and all....funny thing, I was actually drawn to this thread because you said "converted"....makes me think you joined some sort of strange cult, not veggie-dom
congratulations to both of you, may both of you live long, healthy and fullfilling lives, you will love it peacex
