hey fellas, im new to mushroom growing and i bought a mushroom grow kit and was wondering how much water and sunlight should i give it daily?
It only needs a light to tell it which way to grow. Get any light, hell a christmas light will do, and place it on top.
yea thats what i was reading, so if i barely ever touch the mycellium and always sterilize everything, i should be good. this kit should make it pretty easy for myself.
The kit you bought could be made for half the price. It dosn't matter if you touch the mycellium b/c it is already established its only if you touch the substrate for bacteria to start growing there instead of teh mycellium. I mean don't just touch it to touch it but if you need to dunk or do whatever it wouldn't matter.
