In the past The Noon near Leidseplein was known for their 5 gram bags of Blueberry for EUR 25. I think for single gram prices versus quality Grey Area is the best.
I had to conduct experiment here. Google is only showing the thread ''Brits banned from coffeeshops'' when I search my web site. Hence all the postings above. Although Yahoo is OK I have no idea why Google is listing that thread only.
Phew, those menus are online. I noticed that they were offline the other day. Adventurous, if I were you I would obey your namesake. To score deals you will have to buy in bulk. Buy less and sample more strains. Alternatively, you could head out of Amsterdam to, for instance, Haarlem. Cheaper gear and just as good.
Having just got back I found it varies from CS to CS. I certainly wouldnt recommend buying from the Grasshopper for example, not saying the weeds of poor quality but very expensive compared to most. Old church was better, 1.9g bags for 12E, 14E maybe, I cant remember... But like theguest says, id do what we did, just buy the odd bag from different coffee shops, this way you get to try far more different strains. At one point this weekend im sure the 6 of us had about 15 different bags flying around the table, haha
and I'd also recommend sampling the varieties that "taste the best" if you plan on smoking heavily. If you smoke alot, you will be blazed constantly and one high will be layered on top of another. Hence, potency shouldn't be the number one concern. I enjoy asking the shop keeper for recommendations. My criteria are usually taste and bud development. Ask to see the buds and pick the type that looks like its been grown to its full potential. I'd rather smoke incredibly buddy trichrome covered skunk then smoke some designer strain that was grown and cured poorly.
