when is the best time to go out and hunt shrooms? and since it is cold here in tennessee, does that effect the growth?
here in the UK the only time to pick mushrooms is between mid september and the end of October, its usually to warm for them to come out before the end of August and too cold and wet the closer it gets to November. We only have about 4 good weeks picking in my area (although I dont do shrooms anymore, havent for years)

i've done them like 3 times... it's not that hard to find them where i live though... they do go in and out of season from time to time, but generally, i've never had a problem finding some mushrooms when i want them
