Everytime I need to get a reality break and want to read just how stupid people can be, I find my way to HipForums.com. It must be an amazing world you live in, where the Baathist paradise of Iraq was crushed by Bushco and it's oil theives, where John Kerry and Barbara Boxer are heroes, and where American troops are raping and murdering their way across the middle east. I'd wish you heathen pieces of garbage happy holidays, but you would probably accuse me of trying to impose my religion on you.
Is a reality break the same as a reality check? Anywhos, what do you call a man who disagrees with a war, but goes anyways, recieves medals and a purple hart (I know they all aren't for getting your arms blown off, my grand-dad got a purple heart in WWII because a drunken bus operator at his base in Britian ran over his foot, but still, it hurts), returns home dissiluioned, and heads up veterans against the war trying to save the lives of his fellow soldiers? A frickin' hero and a good person. Now what do you call a man who supports a war, but instead of actually seeing service quote: "Didn't want to shoot his foot off, so decided to learn how to fly airplanes", and spent most of the time getting drunk? Mister president!
One of the things I like about this site is I can always come here and find some moronic post by some moron like low brow, I mean lowtax, who certainly has the right to speak up and express his views, but would rather issue some prepubescent taunt, in a vane effort to rile people up. I wasn't trying to do that but you're right it appears that way. It's just that his little rant was typical of what one would expect from an immature 19 years old. Had he been an older right wing asshole/person I would have expected his commentary to be more intellectually befitting an older person of right wing leanings. Something along the lines of "Hillary Clinton's a dyke. Na Na Na Na!" I read a lot of postings on here by even those as young as 15 year olds that contain a higher level of lucidity and maturity. A- I rarely post in this forum. This thread just caught my eyes and I went back and read his extensive collection of literature. Three posts which involve him making rude comments with NO POINT. B- At least those people don't make idiotic attacks on the whole forum in threads they're obviously never going to go back and read. This isn't about politics, this is about coming to a forum for no reason other than to insult it's members. That's like the idiots who post in the Christian forum to comment on how stupid they think all Christians are. Wait. No. It's not. I'll give those idiots more credit that that. They at least go back and defend their point of view.
you are right, some of the most intelligent discussion on here involve a debate with people of a conservative viewpoint. i like that about this website, that you can get into a deep debate if you find the people. there are too many lame-liberal threads which do make liberals look awful. the problem is with some conservative posters on here, are that they are sooo far right it is unbelievable. and clearly they come on here to piss off others and cause a nuisance, like long term trolls. posters who will just disagree with any liberal thought and just post a link to a website to prove a point, instead of listening to others. we must all learn to respect one another, because after all this is a hippy website. peacex
