My wife (Primordial_Matrix) told me about this site and so I'm checking it out here. It doesn't seem to me to be very active or friendly? Some people haven't even been greeted yet by the old timers? Where are you old timers? Don't you know it's the nice thing to do when new people join your forum? Maybe you do things a little different around here than everywhere else. Just wondering what's up with that? Anyway about me; I pretty much told what there is to tell about myself in the bio profile. I play bass guitar, I play tribal drumbs (djembe), and I like to write poetry & blogs. I got a website with my writing at: www.poetrypoem.com/hobskewward. I don't have a lot of time to come to these forum boards, my job keeps me on the road a lot. I'm hoping to win the lottery sometime real soon so that I can spend more home time with wife. Hey there DerBaron_Hobskeww, I too am a musician, I’ve been playing guitar for over 30 years, I guess longer then you’ve been alive…..Although, I’m not an old-timer, I’ve been here long enough to know what the scoop is….There are some very groovy people here and yes I’ve asked the same thing about the senior members…..They do crawl out from under their rocks every once and a while….You’ve got a pretty righteous old-lady there in Primordial Matrix….I will take it upon myself to apologize for the group and face any repercussions that may turn up….I’m glad that you two found your way here and hope that you will give things chance….Anyway, "To The Hip Forums" Allow me extend the welcome mat. I recently found "The Hip Forums" myself and I know what it’s like to be a newcomer. You don’t really know what to say or how to act. Read some of the threads so you can get the gist of what topics are being discussed. When you feel comfortable jump right in and get your feet wet. Nobody here is going to "Flame" you, that just isn’t tolerated here (unless it’s necessary) lol. We get some assholes here who just want to stir up bad vibes... From what I’ve found so far is that we are one big family with many brothers and sisters. I actually never introduced myself, on hipforums... didn't think to, just jumped right into posting poetry.
