Or if you have a write-in option, let us know. Also, what particular product is represented by your current favorite commercial (radio or TV)? P.S.- forgot to add fast food and chain restaurants (e.g. McDonald's, Olive Garden)
my personal favorite is the dairy queen commerical, where this guy has 2 fake arms. with his 2 real arms hes eating a burger, and with the other 2 fake ones (its a doctor) and he tells this guy to cough (giving a physical) and he has this blatent fake arm by his balls. i cant really explain it, its funnier when you see it.
I think it's the Telus commercials, I don't remember...but they have the bunnies on them, watching tv on the phones, listening to music, playing poker...SO CUTE.
I think that television commercials have a definite impact on our society. For example, I was in the Navy for four years so I spent a lot of time away from the US. We didn't have regular commercials so after about 7 months of being gone you see a lot of new commercials when you return. The only commercials we had were what we called "Propaganda" films. Let's just say they get real old, real quick. The only channels we recieved were Fox News, ESPN and a 24 hour movie channel. Some commercials are getting better. I think the industry wants to entertain us more, we'll definitly remember a gieco, budwieser, miller, or burger king commercial.
I'm a weirdo--I actually like to watch commercials and critique them--there is this Kodak commercial that is so emotional that it gives me chills and kind of makes me uncomfortable--it's just too much for me at time--yes, a commercial has made me cry before
I love the HP commercials with the white frames that make still pictures and become moving pictures and stuff...I just like looking at it.
my favorite is the advert with the bears catching salmon, a man run up to the bear starts fighting the bear to try and get its salmon, then runs of with its fish. i cant remeber the slogan but im sure it was pretty slick. the bear even does the ali shuffle and a round house kick. i think its so good because the advert starts of like a documentary.
i like the arbys commercial with the three construction workers are sittin and the dude with the arbys walks by and they start jeering at him and everythin... i dunno i thought it was funny
It's lame, I know, but I get such a kick out of the Jimmy Deam commercials, where the father is the sun. "Good Morning, Sunshine" - hahahahaha!
Sometimes it's weird how the stupidest commercials make us laugh. Who knows why? There's a series of commercials where people are standing in a all-white room running up cell-phone minutes (telecommunications). The one with the girl in the cheerleader uniform cracks me up, and i don't know why. i also like the ad where the guy takes the 2 cavemen to dinner...
I didn't think this year's Super Bowl ads were as good as years past. I thought a couple of the Budweiser ones were funny: the magic fridge and the streaking sheep (I think it was). But my favorite was the phone commercial where the guy's couch catches on fire, and there ends up being a chase around the living room, Benny Hill-style (I loved that dude).
I saw few of them, was watching "Puppy Bowl" on Animal Planet with my 6 yr old. But I did see the one for Bud, (I think) with the baby Clydesdale (sp?) and he puts his little head in the halter, where he is trying to pull the wagon, and he does it, and you see the older Clydes behind the wagon, helping him pushing the wagon with their heads. It was adorable. I heard it was a hard commercial to make and almost didn't make in time. The man who made it is a long time commercial director, and he said, "Baby horses, they just don't listen. He didn't do a thing I said. Even those Horse Whisperers couldn't get him to listen. We barely finished it."
peugeot add where the indian guys havea shabby car that they smash to the shape of a 206. Then drive around thinking they're cool. It's really good.
I love the one with the guy. When he says: "That's no St. Bernard, that's my grandmother." It kills me every time.
