either way our system sucks

 

yeah, Parlimentary system sucks for picking leaders far more than the USofA...at least you can vote directly for the leadr of the country [even if it isnt popular vote, which would make SO much more sense than "electoral votes"]

 

but.. we have electoral votes..

 

I know, and I tihnk electoral votes are dumb, thats what I find stupid about the President voting thing in the USofA, it SHOULD be popular vote, but isn't...

my point was at least you can vote directly for leader, even if it is electoral votes which messes everything up and makes some states more important than others

Don't say America's government fucking sucks. I am tempted at times to express that sentiment, but we have to remember, we are incredibly lucky to be born free. We are, likewise, incredibly lucky to be able to say that America's government fucking sucks. It is flawed, it is at times unreasonable and strict, but I for one am grateful to be a free citizen under a system of democracy and liberty. . . .

Even if our leaders are bumbling chimpanzees who choke on pretzels and even if DARE straps young adolescents to chairs and brainwashes them with conservativism and fables. There's always a dark side.
