Yeah thats shitty to let someone go shirtless anywhere outside and around the park but just not in it! Hell, they dont even let you do it in the viewing areas and thats just lame! I dont think they enforce the rules though cuz ive seen shirtless people therre before just not as much anymore.

I just think they do it because some religious extremeist nitwits come in there and complain about seeing things that might somehow demoralize them or their children and theyre worried seeing such things will lead to sin and affect them in adverse ways and all that other nonsense and they think these places have to protect them from their own paranoidal delusions.

Its usually ultra conservative types, old women/men, religious people and stupid soccer moms with kids who worry that seeing any sort of exposed flesh will somehow bring ireperable harm to their kid. These are the people I usually see complaining and I think it was because of these nitwits is why I was forced to put a shirt on in McDonalds, well part of that is because of the ultra conservative catholic hispanic woman who works there that gets picky about every little thing as well and worries about upsetting the local community groups like those girl scouts who came in then I think, thats what they looked like to me.

Things have changed. It used to be traditional for a skater to take off his shirt after winning a match, much like how the soccer player throws off his shirt after scoring a goal.

I have some old video of skate boarders from the 70s. One guy did a trick barefoot. He used his toes to pull the board up and making it flip 360 while going over an obstacle. People back then weren't afraid to do things in bare feet.

Seems like the skaters now are more body conscious because they always wear such confining and usually hot clothing in the most ridiculous of circumstances and care more about how they look than how they feel. I think they like to wear alot of designer clothing to either show off to their friends or because if theyre pros they probably wear the logo stuff to get more money if they do. I see more people watching shows at skate matches not wearing shirts than the skaters themselves.

Anyways that girl *which was a teen that worked at Vans* I asked about the shirt policy *I had one on when I did it* said they didnt allow people to be shirtless because its a public place and she didnt bother to explain it anymore and had this look on her face like "why are you wasting my time with such a stupid question?". I mean most of these people who ive seen working at skater places or who wear skater clothes are either really stuck up or really ditzy.

Tonight was a good shirtless evening. I had a bite to eat at Subway Sandwiches, did some grocery shopping at the local co-op, where the clerk always calls me "shirtless Jim:) ", and went to Baskin Robbins. I just wore my fav surf shorts when I went to these places, no shoes or shirt in sight. I don't know why more guys don't go shirtless, they are missing out. I'm trying to expand my list of shirtless friendly places, so I'm gonna do as much shirtless and barefootin as I can.

Has anyone here gone barefoot or shirtless to a movie theater? I have to a couple. It's a lot of fun if you can get away with it. At one theater they told me I had to wear shoes, but I didnt have to wear a shirt. At another theater I walked in just wearin my surf shorts and a smile, and they didn't say a word! It was very kewl.

Anyway, keep the shirtless thread goin, it's cool to read others experiences...

Well the movie theaters near me are in shopping malls for the most part. So I dont think id be able to go to the movies shirtless. I guess I could always go in and take it off in the dark but im just worried someone would see and sometimes the people who work there come in during the movie and id be worried about getting caught. There areint too many movie theaters around thatare not part of a mall or big shopping center. I really dont know if that mall near me has a dress code or not, never really asked them but ive asked a couple others malls and they do so I assume that one does as well.

I sometimes go shirtless to the Carl's Jr and Savon near me but some people that work there give me weird looks and im always nervous about someone saying something about my shirtlessness and making me put a shirt on and ruining it for me so lately I havent done it.

You don't want to go into a theatre barefoot. You have no idea how filthy the floors are. As far as going shirtless, the theatres around here are cold--I usually have to wear a jacket.

i may sound like a male pig talkin, but please dont take it that way. I personally belive that if men can walk around in public without a shirt on women should be able to do the same, if not then men shouldnt be able to do it either...

I wouldnt care what i stepped on if i went barefoot into a theater anyways, i could always just wipe em off, feet are easier to clean than shoes. As for shirts, I wouldnt care if it was cold or not, id just wanna be sure i could be topfree without gettin into trouble.

Im just sick of people saying ive gotta put a shirt on just because the sight of my natural body "offends" someone and just because the public is OFFENDED I have to cover myself up like im doing something evil. These people dont even have any legitimate reason to be offended by the sight of me and these different places should not be pandering to them and forcing me to cover up when they allow people with all sorts of offensive clothing, tatoos, peircings and all sorts of other UNNATURAL offensive material to come onto their property. If they are not willing to get rid of such things there then they have no business and no right telling me to put a shirt on. I do not intend to offend anyone and many of these other people do and they dont give a damn about anyone so before anybody even THINKS of critcising me they should try doing that to these other people instead.
