Camping on a lake...help

    ok, ive always wanted to just go out to a public lake, and just camp out, but i don’t know if there's fines for starting a fire on a beach, or anything like that... it would just be ten people or so, spending the night out there... and help is greatly appreciated

    usually they have signs up about camping near lakes and parks and stuff. also, near beaches they nearly always have fire signs.

    depends on where its at. is it a state park, national park, county park, state forest etc.?

    When you go, remember to get a site on eastern side of the lake, so you can enjoy sunset over the water.

    As long as no one driving around can see your car, your in !

    Truthfully, ranger rick won't even care, not unless your car is parked in his domain. Cool parking is your key.

    If you or your campsite or your fire is viewable by a passing car on a road, you are busted.
