I download songs from iMESH. All music files are protected by some sort of license, which will not permit me to burn the music in iMESH, Windows Media Player or Realplayer. Does anyone know of a program, or some other way (preferably free), to rid myself of this problem? Thanks!
LOL and so is the 7 cents a song royalties the studios pay the artists. So are all the samples from other old songs that hip hop artists use in their tracks. The music company doesn't consider that stealing when they don't pay the original artists for their artists use of the songs. Sony doesn't consider it stealing when they use open source in their rootkit DRM crap and don't give credit in accordance with the GNU. Now we are thieves for recording music in mp3, but we weren't when we were recording albums with our cassette decks? Or TV shows with our VCR's? Dia-RIAA will get no sympathy from me. Vivendi had 24 Billion euros in revenue for 2004. The music group had 4.9 Billion in revenue. It's not our fault they can't manage a profit.
