I've got on the pill again after a couple of years. I've always used this sort of pill. In the past I've gained a bit of weight due to an increse in my appetite and become a little moody for the first two months. However, my periods were regular, lighter and shorter and my skin was cleaner.

do any of you have any experiences with microgynon?

I had to start using the pill because my bloodloss was too heavy.. I tried several pills because I was really in pain from the cramps during me period.. I had microgynon 30 as well and it didn't really do anything special apart from regulating and birthcontrol. I ended up using Diana 35 which is a pretty 'heavy' pill, but it works great for acné as well. However, my pains were still very bad and I decided to quit all the medical bullshit and let my body take care of itself, so I've been off the pill for over a year now. I'm not in pain anymore (!), probably also thanks to a visit to a homeopath (sp?).. however, my hormones are still really fucked up, because I've been producing milk (just a tiny bit, but it's there!) for over a year now as well.. strannnngee.. and no, I'm not pregnant :)

Soooo.. pills can be good, pills can be bad.. all depends on why you want to use it and what your priorities are. I absolutely love not using it, because my body feels more 'real' now.. but having to use condoms is a bitch.. ah well..

Oh, btw.. never had weightproblems, although I dropped a few pounds after I quit (thanks god I've got'm back).. but because of the pain I had when on the pill and menstruating I took the advice of the gyno to just keep taking it without the stop-week.. and that made me depressed as hell! Did I mention that I love having stopped with it? *grin*

it made me suicidal and bulimic.

I'm never going on the pill again. I use cannabis to stop the pain, and condoms to stop the babies and it works fine for me :)
